Acclaimed pianist and producer Dr. Keith Javors will make a rare Philadelphia hometown appearance at the illustrious South Kitchen and Jazz Bar on December 14th at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. as part of the Evolution of Jazz series curated by WRTI's Jeff Duperon. Joined by world-class musicians Nimrod Speaks on bass and Byron Landham on drums, the trio will play originals from Keith's eight records as a leader as well as offering fresh treatments of existing jazz standards.
